Russian Ballet and Italian Opera at the Emirates Palace.

Founded in 1988 by distinguished Russian choreographer Victor Smirnov-Golovanov, the prestigious Moscow City Ballet is scheduled to perform Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Swan Lake on the 11th and 12th of November, at 8pm, at the Emirates Palace.

The ballet company will perform in the UAE before flying to the UK to continue their tour.

On the 29th of November, the Verdi and Puccini Opera Gala will see Italian composers Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini’s arias performed by the soprano Monica De Rosa McKay, the tenor Gian Luca Pasolini and the baritone Daniel Giulianini.

This event has been organised under the patronage of the Italian Embassy to the UAE and the Italian Industry of Commerce in the UAE.

Opera arias and duets from Il Trovatore, Otello, Rigoletto, La Boheme, and Madama Butterfly will be performed by the Italian opera singers, accompanied by pianist Vitali Mihailiuc, and narrated by Prof. Alessandra Priante, the Italian Cultural Attaché for the Gulf Region.
